Touted as The First RPG For iPhone, PanfobiA was recently announced by the Italian company - Kiki Technology. They have promised a full-length (100+ hours of single player gameplay) old-school console style RPG, in the vain of the older Final Fantasy titles when your characters were sprites and had a 0 polygon count. Though technically the first RPG available for iPhone (as it is currently available) is the title Vay (a port of an old Sega CD game), PanfobiA is on track to be the first RPG designed specifically for the iPhone.
Solid Art Direction
The art direction as seen in the screenshots is really promising and builds up some excitement and anticipation for the games release. As long as they can deliver a solid, engaging story; a comfortable control system, and a good battle engine we could have a solid gam that initiates the seriousness of the iPhone (and iPod Touch) as a true gaming platform.
Kiki Technology promises us “a full rpg story, featuring an old style graphic and new controller experience” with 100_ of single player gameplay. They are also working on some sort of multi-player mode which becomes available after finishing the single player.
Online Gameing Modality, unlocked after finished the solo story, you will be able to use your own character with your own item collected turing the solo adventure in a mmorp endless world
Their translating abilities (as you can see from that quote) are not stellar, so hopefully they get some professional translation done for this game - I would hate to see an RPG with this kind of promise get spoiled with an “All Your Base Are Belong To Us.”

If you are a blogger there is an approximately 99.8% chance that you use Wordpress as your CMS (Content Management System) of choice. Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a bit, but most bloggers have worked with Wordpress at one tie or another, whether or not it is their blogging platform of choice.
If you were like me you were jealous of the Typepad app that was revealed on June 9. It looked great but, who uses Typepad anymore? Luckily, Wordpress has decided to answer with their own native application, which will soon be available for free for iPhone in the iTunes App Store.
Wordpress for iPhone
Introducing the first Open Source app that lets you write posts, upload photos, and edit your WordPress blog directly from your iPhone or iPod Touch. With support for both WordPress.com and self-hosted WordPress (2.5.1 or higher), users of all experience levels can get going in just seconds.
Wordpress for iPhone will allow you to easily post to your blog on the go, for true mobile blogging. There are 2 really nice features that I am most looking forward to in this app. The first is the ability to edit older posts. Currently you can hack your way into mobile blogging with enabling the email-to-blog option, the problem with this is you cannot easily customize your post (most code is ignored) and there is no way to edit old posts, or fix any mistakes in the email you sent if you later notice a typo or need to make a correction. This will be a cinch in the new App as you can easily open old posts and edit to your hearts content.
The second feature, and one I’m most excited about, is the ability to add photos straight from your iPhone. This seems like a “well, duh” feature, but is going to be super nice to add that extra visual flair to your posts from the road. This also opens up the possibility for some clever iPhone Photo blogs. Also, with the updates from 2.0 allowing you to download images in Safari (tap and hold on an image to get a download button) and take screenshots (press the Home and Standby key at the same time), this app will open a whole new can of worms.
